We absolutely love being part of The Boat Club of Texas!! The fleet is the best —always well-maintained, clean, and ready for a great day on the water. What truly sets this club apart, though, is the ownership. They are the kindest family and consistently go above and beyond to make sure every experience is seamless and enjoyable. This has become such a special addition to our family’s time together. It’s given us the opportunity to create lasting memories in a fun, relaxing, and unique way. We’re so grateful to be part of this community that genuinely cares about its members and their experiences. Highly recommend!
Apr 12, 2026 · Google ReviewThe Boat Club of Texas is truly the best boat club in town in so many ways. I hands down would recommend joining 10/10. If you want to know why… keep reading. First off, let me say I am a single mom to a 4 year old so joining a boat club was somewhat intimidating as a woman. I knew I wanted to be on the water but I also wasn’t ready to purchase a boat - enter The Boat Club of Texas. From the initial phone call with Sam, the owner, you can tell that they really pride themselves in creating a business with family as a value. Then when you tour the club, you can see how intentional they are with every little detail of your experience. There are so many things I love about it: - friendly dock hands that are so helpful - The member to boat ratio that ensures I can always reserve a boat (even on holiday weekends) - Access to the marina pool (which we use so frequently) - The boating classes that allow you hands on skills practice (I had driven boats but never docked one before) - Lily pads and tubes available to use at no extra charge The Boat Club of Texas is like a big family. The other members are so friendly and you can tell everyone enjoys a part of the club. Many of them have shared their experiences with other clubs in the Houston/Seabrook/League City/Kemah area and how The Boat Club of Texas is truly the best. I am a native Houstonian but I’m new to the Seabrook area. Sam and Adin had great recommendations for restaurants, coffee shops and even invited me to their church. It was so nice to have those recommendations as someone new to the area. Speaking of, last but not least one of the many things I love about The Boat Club of Texas is that they are Christian owned business. As a believer, I love supporting other businesses that are on a mission to bring glory to God. Thanks to The Boat Club of Texas for being so amazing! I feel confident to bring my little guy on the water to fish, cruise or swim whenever we want. We have made so many memories on the boat! I’m so grateful to have found you and to be a part of the family.
Aug 20, 2026 · Google ReviewMy family joined the Boat Club of Texas several months ago, and I could not recommend them enough. My husband did quite a bit of research when looking for a boat club, and we absolutely chose the perfect match for our family. We are both busy surgeons and have 3 children ages 5, 7, and 9. From the moment we walked in, Sam and his family treated us like family. They provided a very thorough orientation so that everyone in the family feels comfortable with the boats whether they are new to boating or have been doing it for years. We have been able to get a boat reservation any time we requested. The boats are amazing quality, and we have never had an issue on the water. The staff/owners are extremely receptive and genuinely some of the nicest people we have ever met. Their club house creates such a welcoming and convenient space for us to meet up with friends or reset before and after our boat outing. Adin and the other boat hands are incredibly helpful. This has been such a great experience for our family and we look forward to being a part of this community for years to come.
Aug 22, 2026 · Google ReviewMy parents have been members here about five years. A few years back they were close to leaving, but Sam took over and turned it around, and they stayed. What stands out is the way they treat people. It's a welcoming group and they make it easy to show up and feel like you belong. You never get the feeling you're borrowing somebody else's boat, which isn't something I expected to care about until I had it. Sam and Carmen run it as a family and it shows.
