Captain Chris and Captain Michael were excellent guides on the water. You will have a safety check and an introduction to the boat prior to leaving the dock. Depending on weather conditions, you can set sail out in Galveston Bay, have a day with floats in the water or have a romantic sunset sail with your family or friends. Highly recommend experiencing a day on the water with Yachtcations.

We had an absolutely amazing experience with Yachtcations! From the moment we stepped on board, the staff made us feel welcome and cared for. They were not only incredibly friendly but also very knowledgeable about the ocean waters and the catamaran itself, which gave us confidence that we were in the best hands. The boat was spectacular — spacious, comfortable, and perfect for our group of 12, which included four kids and even a baby. There was plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy the ride. Out on Galveston Bay, we were treated to incredible sights — pelicans, fish, seagulls, and all the natural beauty the bay has to offer. Captain Tom and his first mate, Kathleen, were outstanding. Their warmth and professionalism made the trip even more special. It truly was a perfect day on the water, and I honestly cannot wait to book with them again. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a memorable and fun experience on the water!

This was a fabulous experience! I bought me and my husband a private sailing lesson on the catamaran and a night on the boat. It had to be postponed a couple times due to the weather, but that was an easy process. The boat sailed like a dream. The captain, Chris Block, was calm, knowledgeable, and a good instructor. I'm still in awe over how different it feels to sail on a catamaran vs a monohull. I have had many ankle surgeries, so it makes a huge difference for me. This was also our first time using autopilot on a sailboat, and I must say, I'm a fan! We felt confident that we wanted a catamaran, and now we are certain. The boat was clean and comfortable, and the AC was ice cold! The marina was nice and felt very safe behind the electronic locked gates. It was also within walking distance to a variety of amazing restaurants, a fabulous coffee house, and the boardwalk. Everywhere we went, everyone knew, trusted, and truly liked our captain, Chris. Everyone. It was remarkable. We just mentioned we were there for a sailing lesson with him, and suddenly we were welcomed like long lost friends and treated to stories of how helpful he was, how great he was to work with. He sold everyone their boat and taught most of them to sail. And not one negative comment. I definitely recommend Yachtcations and Chris Block.

My group of 10 women selected an afternoon cruise on a Yachtcations catamaran. We had a fabulous crew and a fabulous day. Although the wind was a little gusty, our pilot navigated our boat for the best possible experience. Occasional wave bursts were fun and added to our trip. The crew made sure we were comfortable and chose great music for our group. The day could not have been any better and everyone wants to plan another cruise soon.

Chris Block is the ultimate captain and coach! I hired him to do a big sailing cat tune up with my wife and our friends before embarking on a sailing flotilla in the Ionian Islands. His teaching and coaching style is second to none and in no time he had my confidence high as I navigated his 45 Lagoon through the narrow channels of Kemah Marina. Our entire crew appreciated he and his first mate Kat’s hospitality as we sailed out on Galveston Bay. If you are looking for sailing training, a refresher or just a fun charter look no further! Chris and his team are top notch - from Ted who made the booking process a breeze, to Kat who made us feel welcome, to Chris who instilled confidence and knowledge. Seriously, you can’t get better for your money.
