Donald MehasThis place may be a little off the beaten path, but it’s right on Main Street and definitely worth the stop. The food is full of flavor, and they have both a charro bean bar and a salsa bar, so you can go back as many times as you like. One of their red salsas is the closest thing I’ve found to authentic New Mexico red chile. I ordered the street taco plate, and it was perfect. I haven’t seen many recent reviews, so I wanted to share my experience and hopefully help others discover this hidden gem.

JoshInYa🌮 Best tacos around! Try the barbacoa... its legendary. This place is a local favorite and slept on. If youre looking for good food look no further. Great food, salsa and complementary borracho beans are so good! Order at counter, build your tacos with choice of condiments yourself. Great breakfast burritos, enchiladas and birria (not on menu but ask!). New renovation has a great sitting area and service is quick. Family owned/operated... this place seriously blows the rest of the mexican food places kit of the water!!!!

We gave La India Bonita another try, and we're so glad we did! The food is consistently fresh, authentic, and served in generous portions. We especially love the complimentary charro beans—they're a delicious bonus to every meal. Everything we've ordered has been flavorful and well-prepared. If you're looking for authentic Mexican food with great quality and excellent portions, La India Bonita is definitely worth a visit!
