Theron CharlestonLoved this place! The servers and chef were phenomenal and being able to see them prepare your meal is a treat! I had a Japanese beer with my sushi to really give it that sushi bar experience. The sheer variety and creativity of their roll options is amazing. Can not recommend enough!

sheri careyMy daughter randomly announced this Wednesday that she wanted a sushi boat. I’d never heard of that, so I asked Chat to make some recommendations for places near LCTX to get a sushi boat and Tsubasa was the first recommendation. I had never even noticed this little cozy sushi bar before, but I am SO GLAD we gave them a shot. Everything was very fresh and the waitstaff was very sweet and attentive. The crazy shaggy and the pink lovely were especially delicious. You should check it out. You won’t be disappointed.

Priscilla M.Friendly server and chef, but my husband and I became very ill after eating at Tsubasa. The only dishes that we both shared were vegetable tempura and miso soup, so it was one of those that gave food poisoning. The fish to rice ratio on nigiri was decent and everything was flavorful, but not sure we will be back.

Cindy ThompsonGREAT food, spotless restaurant, nice people. We just had our 3rd visit, wanted to make sure it was as great as we thought it was the first time before reviewing it - and it is. The fish is very fresh, and they even prepare requests off the menu (Aburi!). Owner and his sidekick are great, everyone is nice but service isn't intrusive. A bunch of guys are working it regularly, so they don't always thinking of handing out more napkins, topping off iced tea, etc.... but when you ask them they hop to it and will do anything to please. Christian was our waiter today, and he was thorough and pleasant and we couldn't have asked for any better. Our new sushi place, it is that good. We'll be back again. And BOATERS - you can dinghy here and leave your dinghy on the small dock by the boat storage next to this strip mall. We do that for all the restaurants in this area and just love the convenience.

Salman ZaidiFish quality was 5/5. The nigiri tasted very fresh. The rolls were well made, both aesthetically and with composition and balance of flavor. You can see the staff making your sushi behind the counter, and can tell they put great effort into it. We had the Tuna, Salmon, and Scallop Nigiri, as well as the Trifecta Roll, Pink Lovely, and Top Scallop. Service was 5/5. Very welcoming atmosphere, from the time we walked in, until we left. Atmosphere was 5/5. Very pleasant decor and ambiance. Conducive to relaxing and enjoying a good meal.
