I have used Maximum Scuba since my original open water certification in 2021. Time and time again Jeff and his amazing team have gone above and beyond to make scuba fun and to make sure I received the best education possible for my furthering journey into scuba. Since my open water cert, Jeff, Chris and Jessi, have guided me thru my Advanced open water, Rescue diver and now working through Dive Master on my way to instructor. I couldn't imagine learning from anyone else. I'm so excited to continue my journey with Maximum Scuba Houston.

After taking my open water course here I came back for my advanced open water. It was a ton of fun and I’m so glad I did it! I think every diver should take this course and the navigation skills I learned were super important! You will know how to use a compass and make squares and triangles which might sound weird but you’ll understand after the course haha! 10/10 I really can’t recommend this dive shop enough. Also it’s really cool deep diving in a lake and seeing all the neat things they put into the lake. My favorite thing in the lake is an airplane!

Loved this class! 100% recommend. To begin, maximum scuba was very quick to responding to all my questions when selecting and prepping for the class . The instructors (nina, mike, and jeff) are incredibly patient, encouraging, and fun! The instructors helped me get truly comfortable with the training and motivated me to get past the “beginning jitters” and build the confidence to scuba! Also love that they provide everything you need for the class which allows you to “try out scuba” before committing to the hobby and/or buying any equipment. One of the major reasons i picked maximum scuba was that they do all the training over one weekend vs having to plan for multiple weekends (the other options), but still give the opportunity to come out in future weekends to continue practicing. Maximum Scuba was also family friendly. it was a nice to see that students families and kids could come accompany during the training day). If you have been thinking of taking a class, look no further… you have found THE CLASS, 💯recommended!

Great place if you’re looking to get PADI open water certified. My son and I just got certified and we had so much fun. I was very nervous and scared my first time, but they were very patient with me and took their time to teach me. Highly recommend them. Just make sure you to take the courses in the summertime so when you get in the lake it’s not as cold. We will definitely be coming back for the advance open water certification. Thanks Nina and Jeff!
