First visit for lunch. Greeted and seated immediately. The waiter took our drink order on the spot. We kind of ordered a few different things that we heard were good for our first visit. The Sushi Tacos were definitely different. Not sure I would order them again wasn't something that appealed to me. The miso soup and this hot and sour soup were fantastic. We had the pork dumplings. They were very good. Definitely order those again. I had the bento box with the teriyaki shrimp and it was just OK. we also ordered the lunch, special sushi and it was just OK. we will definitely be back to go deeper into the menu. I think this is a hidden treasure of East League City.
Aug 1, 2026 · Google ReviewPretty decent basic sushi and dumplings. I actually thought the dumplings were better than the sushi. The dumplings held a lot of soup inside and weren’t too hot. I got the sashimi lunch and it had tuna, white tuna, salmon, and yellow tail. The sashimi wasn’t the best it was a 2/5. It was a bit chewy and the white tuna had the texture of being half cooked and half raw. The best sushi was the premium scallop nigiri, it was smooth and melts in your mouth. The hot and sour soup I received with the lunch special was a bit bland. The service was subpar the server wasn’t unfriendly. It was just an item was missed that we ordered and I had dirty dishes(plate and spoon).
Aug 3, 2026 · Google ReviewFantastic spot! The staff is attentive and the atmosphere is very calm. We ordered the lemonade tea, which was delicious. Also, the sushi rolls were very fresh and came with a lot of rolls on the plate.
Jun 22, 2026 · Google ReviewA couple weekends back my nephew and I ate at Tokyco Bao. I am glad we did. I had the Hibachi steak with vegetables, fried rice and egg drop soup. It was good. I usually eat fried wonton with the soup but their wonton were a bit on the blonde side and not crunchy. I didn't mind because the soup was good. Their drink - Chasing Summer- i loved it. It is jasmine tea and passion fruit syrup. So delicious. My nephew had Teriyaki Steak bento box with fried rice and miso soup. I can honestly say that the food was filling. Aside from us, there was one couple with their grandson but before we left another couple came in. The atmosphere was nice. You don't have to yell over loud music to hear conversation, temperature was comfortable, the server who brought out the food was very attentive and cordial. The guy who sat us, and took the payment, was not so much. He was kind of standoffish but that won't deter me from going back. I want to try their foie grass (goose liver) Tokyco Bao 3729 E Lgcy Pkwy
May 14, 2026 · Google ReviewWe’ve been here a few times now and everything has always been super tasty. The soup dumplings are full of broth (be careful when you bite into them 😆) and the red oil dumplings are packed with flavor. The crispy buns are great too. Service has always been friendly whenever we dine in, so just wanted to leave a little positive note for a place we really enjoy❤️
