Trent TidmoreWe went for the steak and lobster special. The 6 oz filets were perfectly cooked. These folks know how to properly cook a steak! The lobster tail is a little on the small side but perfectly cooked and delicious. I had the Mexican corn and my wife had the Brussel sprouts. Very tasty. We will definitely be back.

ArceLikesToExploreLove is a strong word. It's also the right word for this establishment. Just up the street from the hustle and bustle of Kemah Boardwalk sits this restaurant/bar in all it's glory. I don't really frequent this area but I can imagine it gets busy often judging by the size of this place and it's plentiful seating options. They have tables inside with AC and tables outside; both under a roof and out in the sunshine. The food is fantastic. We ended up trying the crawfish and several of their sides and flavored butter. I thought I'd mostly found my favorite place for this year's crawfish season but Okie's hit the ball out of the park. I didn't even need/want the dips in the end since the crawfish was juicy and flavorful all on it's own. I also recommend the sausage and potatoes. They give your meal that extra umph. Now enough about the food. The service was an absolute 10/10. Our waitress was super helpful with placing our order and made our visit a delight. We sat outside in the roofed area around noon and its was a super chill, relaxed, and pleasing ambient. We love this place and will be coming back for more before the season ends.

Taste of the Strand foodtoursI went with my son and grandson to check out this amazing stake and lobster special on Thursdays nights from 5 to 7 pm. The atmosphere was fun and inviting. The service was prompt and friendly. The food was good 👍 I can see myself enjoying and live music performance and having a great time here.

Erick IslasOkies yardhouse is a cool hangout spot with tasty options. When the weather is nice, this spot is a must. We've tried several items and nothing has disappointed. The crawfish was specifically delicious.
