Very nice museum with an excellent hands-on learning section. I've never seen this out of museum before. Excellent for children 👍🏻 Many photographic historic exhibits with lots to read. 👓 Some very unique engines and aircraft. There's several aircraft you can actually go for a ride in! Including a B25! Also an excellent gift shop 🛍️
Feb 19, 2026 · Google ReviewBorn and raised in Houston and even worked at Ellington a few years, and never stopped by. This is a hidden gem. Went to the Candlelight Concert they posted here but enjoyed the museum prior to the concert and it's amazing. Definitely recommend checking it out!

Mar 16, 2026 · Google ReviewI loved this place. If you like airplanes, you’ll surely enjoy it even more. But it remains a very family-friendly spot where both kids and adults have a great time.
Sep 9, 2026 · Google ReviewMy 1st time coming here today, very cool needless to say, definitely has some interesting information on the aircrafts, might i add that I had the honor of having a very informative tour guide, Octavio E Salgado, the knowledge he has on the aircrafts is impressive, his future holds alot for him wanting to learn the trade of being a military air pilot, the stimulator was fun for the kids & husband. I couldn't leave without something from the gift shop either, minuti coffee was amazing as well! Thankyou Lone Star Flight Museum & Octavio we will definitely be coming back!
