The the gentleman that help me at the register was training. He was very nice and the lady helping him was respectful. I had the soup, ceasar salad, and 1/4 muffaletta. My friend had a bowl of chicken and sausage gumbo.

First of all, it is very authentic looking inside—simple, clean, functional. There are nice murals on the walls. Now the food. The crawfish etouffee was just above not cold, the rice was lumpy and cold, the corn bread was decent, the jalapeño cornbread was burnt and should not have been served. Now the gumbo. It was horrible! Just above non-edible. Now the people, they are amazing, friendly, funny, and made the dinner bearable. The service is a counter service, they then deliver the food out to the table. So there is a food auction at the table, but given its counter order service, the food auction is acceptable. Advice: If its burnt or overcooked then it doesn’t go out. I’m not how you control food costs.

Tried Ab's for the first time last night. Walking in the door, it was smaller than I thought it would be, but very welcoming. Let's talk about the ladies at the counter. They are wonderful! We were a party of 5 and let's say there were some challenges ordering! They were patient, kind and friendly. Very much appreciated! We all had fish/shrimp. This was by far the best fried shrimp I have ever had! The catfish was perfection with just the right amount of batter. All sides were enjoyed: salad, green beans, coleslaw, twice baked potato, etc... The beverages and utensils are self serve and they bring your plates to you. We will definitely be going back!

I have been coming here for years and it’s been consistently one of the best Cajun restaurants in the area. They make shrimps po-boys with popcorn shrimp like I am use to in south Louisiana. Etouffee is excellent and gumbo is delicious. Can’t go wrong with shrimp or crawfish platter.
