Lil Daddy’s Gumbo Bar was AMAZING! The food was absolutely delicious. I tried the gumbo and shrimp platter , and both were great! 🍤🔥 The experience was just as good as the food. I asked about the chefs and was told Dwayne & Robert were behind the amazing food. JT was especially great—very helpful, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Great food, great service, and a great overall experience! I will definitely be back to eat here again. If you’re looking for some good gumbo and seafood, you’ve got to check them out!

I saw you guys post on Facebook the other day about the peach sunset and the shrimp platter and I also got an order of beignets it was amazing this was my first time here and I definitely enjoyed the food and service. My server Landon was so very attentive to me. The manager Jt was super nice and very welcoming and made sure my visit was A1 I knew I recognized him from the Facebook post. I will definitely tell my friends and family about this hidden gem of a place!!!!!!!!

I stopped by this location after my niece's graduation in Lamarque/Texas City and maybe it just wasn't the best day to try a new spot. Pros: The atmosphere was clean and inviting. Both hostesses at the door were very helpful and professional. The bar was fully stocked and everything in order and clean. Cons: I ordered a Lil Daddy Seafood Gumbo and Softshell Crab Sandwich and it wasn't at its best today. I waited for my toto order inside at the bar and many of the servers were on social media and sitting at the bar casual with personal friends. When I received my order the first bite was rejected because the buns for the sandwich were COMPLETELY moldy. I returned the sandwich before leaving the parking lot and asked for the cook who prepared the meal/order. The young man confirm that he saw the mold and still served the sandwich (while speaking in Spanish) and I share some Serve safe advice with the staff to perform a quality check every 30 minutes to make sure no customer has an unfortunate experience. The initial order was refunded and I had to pay again for the gumbo only. I just arrived home in Houston to dine if the seafood gumbo and the rice is more than a few days old and extremely mushy. The gumbo roux was scorched/charred with a few burnt okra pieces so it made the entire culinary experience less than admiring for me. I hope this review is not taken personally and maybe a review and can conducted with the staff and management. I will try them again because I was excited for the crab sandwich and the gumbo.. It was a first time here and it was a great experience. They have happy our appetizers from 3-7! The buffalo chicken bites and fried pickles are a good choice. We had the jambalaya, a double cheeseburger, fried shrimp and chicken strips. Our waitress, Marlinda was top notch and very helpful. We will definitely be back again.
