Bonnie’s Donuts
Bonnie's Donuts has become a local favorite for many reasons. From custom lettered donuts that spell out messages to the incredible service, the shop is fast becoming a League City legacy. But the star of the show is the famous 5-pound cinnamon roll, made fresh to order. Each batch takes about two hours to make, but every buttery, gooey bite is worth the wait.

This was our first time trying Bonnie’s Donuts. We heard about their giant Apple fritters and since my husband is a huge fan of those, we decided to grab one of those for his birthday in lieu of a traditional birthday cake this year. We couldn’t resist trying out two boxes worth of assorted donuts, including some awesome limited flavors. When I opened the boxes up at home, my husband’s words were “Wow! They look like works of art!!” We got cronuts, crème brûlée cronuts, cake donuts, chocolate cake donut holes, blueberry cake donuts, cheesecake donuts (regular and lemon), strawberry roll, blueberry roll, blueberry fritters, and she threw in a free pull apart donut. So far we have tried the creme brulee (soooo yummmyyy but they do stick to your teeth a little) and blueberry cake donuts (these were still hot out of the oven when we got them and they were easily the best blueberry cake donuts I’ve ever had- super fluffy and the perfect amount of sweetness). We have another friend with a birthday coming to visit today so we wanted to let her pick out a variety for herself. 🙂 We’ll definitely come back. There’s a line for a reason, people! 😂
Aug 22, 2026 · Google ReviewOH MY GOODNESS, this place! 💕 We saw a Facebook post and immediately knew we had to check it out. Even with a long line out the door, it moved surprisingly fast. The whole family was incredibly welcoming, right down to their young son. He sweetly invited my kids to play with him and his toys in the corner away from the customers. We got chocolate and funfetti donut holes, a churro donut, an apple fritter, a chocolate and blue sprinkle donut, and a jumbo sausage kolache. Everything was absolutely delicious! We barely got any pictures because we tore into them so fast. I even had to buy a second kolache after my kids stole mine. They also threw in a free item with every purchase, which was such a nice touch. We will definitely be back! We can’t wait to try more!
Jun 5, 2026 · Google ReviewBonnie’s is the best donut shop in the county!! My mom first brought me here when I was in junior high. That was 10+ years ago and this place STILL holds up. Amazing service, kind family and ridiculously delicious donuts!! I look forward to the fresh strawberry filled donuts every single year. They are the best of the best! PLEASE SUPPORT!!
May 6, 2026 · Google ReviewThis is the kind of place we all dream of supporting. A small husband/wife team with their amazing kid serving the ABSOLUTE BEST in breakfast foods. We got a little of everything and my kids got all 6 kinds of donut holes! Service is beyond amazing and the food is even better. Save up your $ because you will want to spend more than you planned but it's worth it!
Jul 4, 2026 · Google ReviewI was recommended to this place by a coworker. I'm glad I tried it out! I could tell it was locally owned and atmosphere was very homely. The owners were friendly and didn't rush us when taking our order even though there were many people waiting in line, which I was very grateful for. We ordered: 1.) Apple Fritter. - This was the best out of everything we ordered. It was crunchy on the the outlines and soft in the middle, and tasted absolutely delicious. Plus it was freshly baked while we were waiting in line. 2.) Pineapple cinnamon roll? I'm guessing that's what it's called since I don't see it on the menu? But it tasted great! 3.) Pecan maple danish. I didn't try this one, but my niece loves it! 4.) Traditional glazed donuts. These are my favorite. They were soft and yummy when warmed up a little before eating. 5.) Spiniach & Feta kolaches. I had tried this item before from my coworker. I liked it, it was salty and savory, a welcome contrast to the other items in the bakery. 6.) Sprinkled donut with icing. My younger son's favorite 7.) Red velvet donut holes. I honestly didn't even know these were a thing! Tasted pretty good. 8 & 9.) Plain cake and Blueberry cake. So these are donuts also. I thought they were going to be small round shape cakes. These were recommended when I asked for something healthier and sugar-free for my diabetic mother-in-law. They are NOT sugar-free, but have less sugar compared to everything else. Overall, I'm happy I tried it out. They have a lot more items, especially with meat. We eat only halal meat, so we opted out of those items. I would definitely recommend this place to others. Check it out!
