ReneeStarted classes in September, got several certifications by November and became a member. You don't have to do it like that though. You can become a member and then get your certifications. Every staff member has become like family. They are absolutely the greatest bunch of people and genuinely want to see their students and members thrive. They are always ready to help you whenever you might need it, day or night. The classroom lessons are right by the marina with beautiful views but you don't spend a whole lot of time in there, as you are on a boat learning first hand more. I knew nothing when I started and hadnt even ever been on a sailboat, but am enjoying the experience. It is a whole lot of information and you never stop learning, but I believe that is the key to becoming a competent and confident sailor...that is my goal anyway and Sailtime Houston is doing their best to help me reach it!

carlos CGreat learning place with new boats and great facilities. Small classes and great teachers. Prompt communication. ASA 101 with Bryan is keeper. Learning to dock is easy because the berths are swell protected. Going back for ASA 103 and ASA 104. Sailtime Houston runs smooth. Making it look easy requires effort and dedication that Elizabeth and Evan have in spades

Richard FloydMy wife and I have completed ASA 101 and 118 thus far and the experience is better than we expected. Communicating with Elizabeth has been flawless, the training fleet is safe, clean and everything is operational. Captain John was our instructor, his knowledge and interest in our learning and understanding the material was first class. We can’t say enough about how happy to have him as our instructor.

Nate DavisI booked a two hour Discovery Sail experience with SailTime Houston for my birthday. Captain Dale met my partner and I we began the adventure. Captain Dale has a wealth of knowledge about sailing and traveling. He was very good about explaining the basic principles of sailing and even briefly allowed me to steer the vessel while he set the sails. Overall it was an awesome experience. Thanks again Captain

Leslie CunnaneWe completed our 104 certification with Sailtime Houston and couldn't of asked for a better experience! Amanda assisted us in setting up our lesson and made the processes super easy. Our instructor Capt. Bart was fantastic, he was able to answer all our questions and left us with the knowledge and skills to comfortably charter our own boat in the future. I would highly recommend Sailtime Houston for all your sailing needs.
