What’s better than celebrating Independence Day on July 4? Celebrating it on July 3! The annual Fireworks Extravaganza—one of League City’s most popular events—is bigger than ever, with food trucks, games, inflatables, live music, and fireworks galore.

  • July 3rd, 6-10pm. Fireworks will begin at 9pm.
  • Chester Davis Sportsplex, 1251 W. League City Parkway
  • Free admission and parking
  • Additional parking and shuttle service is available at Hometown Heroes Park, 1001 E League City Pkwy.

Kemah boardwalk fireworks

Travel over to the Kemah Boardwalk for a thrilling day of amusement park rides, live music, and a dazzling fireworks show over Galveston Bay to end the night with a bang. Kemah’s 4th of July celebration runs from 2pm – 11pm, fireworks start at 9:30pm. It is free to watch the fireworks on the Kemah Boardwalk but there is a parking fee.

Visitors can purchase a Patriot Pass and enjoy unlimited 3-day admission on rides at the Kemah Boardwalk, Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier and Downtown Aquarium. (Pass does not include the Boardwalk Beast, Boardwalk FantaSea, Iron Eagle Zipline, Stingray Reef, Midway Games or Arcade.)

4th of july freedom cruise

The South East Resource veteran Effort is hosting their 5th annual Freedom Cruise. Adults 21 and older can celebrate with food, music, cocktails, fireworks and a cruise.

Nassau Bay Fireworks

The City of Nassau Bay fireworks show will begin at 9pm on July 4th. Fireworks will be launched from the Nassau Bay Peninsula.
