Mr. Scott was AMAZING! This was our first time here and we had a great experience! The fried shrimp 10/10, the shrimp cocktail 10/10, the crab cakes 10/10! The executive chief was AMAZING TODAY! I wanna say James and Chris? The manager on duty as of 9/20/26 at 5:15pm was very sweet too! Both managers were! Mr. Scott was an AMAZING SERVER! 10/10! He came to our table several times for refills or just to check on us! He recommended perfect appetizers, main dishes and deserts! It was so fun, Mr. Scott lit the banana bread desert on fire! It was DELICIOUS! Plus, the lemon drop martinis at happy hour was a huge plus! Thanks so much for an AMAZING date night Mr. Scott! We will request you specifically everytime!!!!!

My family treated me to a wonderful Mother’s Day weekend at this restaurant. The food was incredibly delicious, and the service was exceptional. Our waiter was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and made sure we had everything we wanted. The live music added to the ambiance, making it a truly memorable experience. We’re already planning our next visit and can’t wait to enjoy a meal on the patio.

Had my Moms 70th birthday lunch here this past Sunday, and reserved the private room at the recommendation of a server. Room fee was reasonable and had a great view. Our server was Michaela; she was attentive, knowledgeable, honest and friendly. She served our group well of 8 adults 5 kids; helped us cut and serve an outside cake that we brought, offered to take a pic for us, and provided prompt and attentive service. Food was delish too, and the GM even stopped in a few times to make sure things were going well. Thank you, Marais, for knocking it out of the park, we will be back.

This was my first time to dine at Marais and I will definitely be back with some friends or family! I’ll have to try the bar and outdoor seating some time. I went for a solo dinner and all of the staff were kind and attentive. I received some complimentary deviled eggs as an appetizer. I’m not really a fan of eggs in general, but I did enjoy these! The candied bacon on top gave it a nice flavor and texture. For my entree, I got the “Alfredeaux the Dark” as recommended by my waitress, Mihaela. The pasta, the shrimp, and the chicken were all cooked nicely. I was worried the sauce might be on the saltier side since most Cajun pasta dishes I’ve had usually are. But I was pleasantly surprised that it was seasoned just right. I thought the food was delicious and I appreciated how quickly the food came out! I also loved how if any of the servers saw my water was low, they would refill it immediately. I also received the creme brûlée for dessert, which I also enjoyed! Even though the pistachio cookie was more of a compliment to the creme brûlée, it was my favorite part! Thank you to the Chef and to Mihaela for the warm welcome, great food and great service! 🙂

Marais has always been one of my favorites. Doug and his staff has always treated me and party like family. I actually feel spoiled at times and this night was no different. There is a chef in their kitchen by the name of Chef Joshua Waddel. Now I have always been a fan of chef Josh and his work, On this night he spoiled me with a Glazed pork chop, over dirty andouille and confit risotto, with a honey bourbon sauce. I was in heaven with every bite and can’t wait to go back to try more.
