I’ve been eating here for the past 4 years. I honestly have tried almost everything on the menu. I absolutely love this place. It’s the perfect spot to eat at any day of the week. The restaurant is good for date night, family night, a birthday celebration, or just the end of the week comfort meal. I could go on, but my foods getting cold, if you haven’t eaten here - you’re missing out.
Jan 31, 2026 · Google ReviewWe just found this place by chance when we were in the area, I'm glad we did. The decor and space inside is great and Hunsa's menu is vast. We had great service and our waitress was very sweet to us. They gave us some complimentary big wonton chips as a starter. My brother tried one of their specials of the day; curry puffs. When I first saw those, I thought these people might have watched the anime, Black Butler (the famous curry buns the character, Sebastian created)! They were different than what I imagined though and nothing like the curry buns of course. They're not soft, but crunchy and the curry inside was more like Indian curry instead of Asian curry. However, my curry dish was wonderful AND definitely Asian cuisine. I chose the spice level at a three, the meat was tender, the sauce enveloped the veggies and meat very well and the "burner" it came on kept everything hot. Don't worry, the small flame goes out eventually. I got a side of rice on the side, so I could dish a portion of curry on my plate. A level three wasn't enough, so next time I might have my curry at level four or five. Did you know Hunsa has their curry spice levels from one to ten!?! Thai Cottage only does one to five, so how spicy could Hunsa's curry be in comparison!?! My sister-in law liked her dish of sweet and sour chicken with rice, said it was better than what she thought. Of course, my brother and his wife can't resist getting Thai tea whenever they come to an Asian restaurant. He ordered iced tea and my sister-in law ordered hot tea; both were satisfied. Downsides: Hunsa's is a small location, it's located in a shopping center, it's got some competition with a Mexican restaurant and a Subway, and some eateries in that area have since closed down. I hope this place lasts because their food is great and I would love to bring my parents here.
Oct 23, 2026 · Google ReviewThis place is SO GOOD, and I will be back! The Pad See Ew dish has a subtle sweetness with a spicy kick. We ordered the spicy level 4/10 and it was spicy lol but a very tolerable spicy. My friend and I shared this dish and we were satisfied with the portions. FYI—I love spicy food and have a high tolerance. Start off low. I enjoyed it so much! The BBQ pork was so tasty! The staff is super friendly as well.
Apr 26, 2025 · Google ReviewExcellent food all around at our table - my only complaint was that my Kao Soi was a little too sweet. All the dipping sauces were absolutely delicious! Service was standard but got everything correct. We enjoyed our visit and will be back.
