The food was superb. But, wait, there’s more! Birthday cake! I wasn’t expecting that and it, too, was delicious.

Jordan SmithOutstanding experience at Merlion. You can tell immediately this isn’t a cookie-cutter restaurant concept. The atmosphere has real personality, the staff was great, and the entire place feels thoughtfully built from the bar program to the dining experience. The kitchen absolutely delivered. We had the Wagyu Raad Prik, several appetizers, and even a few off-menu items that were fantastic. Everything came out well executed, flavorful, and clearly made with attention to detail. The cocktail and martini program is one of the best around the Clear Lake/Seabrook area. Creative drinks without feeling gimmicky, great presentation, and a menu that actually makes you want to stay and try another round. The reverse happy hour and seasonal cocktails were a really nice touch. What stood out most is that Merlion feels authentic. It has its own identity instead of trying to imitate every trendy Houston restaurant. Relaxed coastal energy with genuinely elevated food and drinks. Big respect to the owners and team. We’ll definitely be back.
