Really nice little nature spot tucked away near Clear Creek. The boardwalk makes it an easy, relaxing walk and takes you through a lot of dense greenery without feeling like you’re hiking through mud or rough terrain. It was quiet, peaceful, and felt surprisingly removed from everything around it. There are several stretches where the trees close in around the trail, and it’s a great place to slow down, walk, listen for birds, and just enjoy being outside. The trail was well maintained when I visited and would be good for families, casual walkers, or anyone who wants some nature without committing to a long hike. I didn’t see a ton of wildlife on this particular visit, but it definitely feels like the kind of place where you could spot deer, birds, or other animals if you’re patient. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the Clear Lake/League City area.
Oct 4, 2026 · Google ReviewThis is such a simple, but beautiful trail/park. Very easy to miss the entrance, but it's worth making a u-turn. It's a very accessible trail for roller skating or for people with mobility aids. I think I saw one part of the sidewalk with a small lip from subsidence. The sunrise is exceptional at several points on the trail.
Oct 3, 2026 · Google ReviewNice little park with plenty of birds and about a 2 mile concrete trail. There are 3 bird observation sites but all 3 could use some work. At least 2 of them have palm trees blocking your view of the water area. There are even some deer in the park occasionally.
