4.8 stars! My wife and I had a fantastic dinner at Adriatic Cafe Italian Grill. The piano greeting you as you walk in, paired with the low lighting, creates a warm, relaxing ambiance that makes it a great spot for a date night. We started with the garlic bread served with oil, garlic, and capers—a delicious way to begin the meal. My wife had the tortellini Alfredo with grilled shrimp. The tortellini was generously coated in creamy Alfredo sauce and topped with large shrimp with a beautiful golden sear. It looked every bit as delicious as it tasted. I had the cheese calzone with pepperoni and mushrooms. The crust was beautifully golden brown, with a glossy finish and a sprinkle of herbs. The cheese, pepperoni, and mushrooms made a delicious filling, and the red dipping sauce served alongside it was a great addition. It was a generous portion, too! The staff was great, the food was fantastic, and the atmosphere made the evening even better. We’ll definitely be back!

We were visiting Great Wolf Lodge for a family getaway and came here for dinner. We had a wonderful experience! The restaurant was clean, the food was delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. It was a great place to enjoy a nice family dinner. Amazing authentic Italian food! Everything was fresh, delicious, and full of flavor. You can really taste the quality and care that goes into every dish. The service was excellent, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere made the experience even better. One of the best Italian dining experiences in League City! Highly recommend Adriatic Cafe Italian Grill. We will definitely be back!

Overheard some people talking this place up. Decided to give them a try. Was not disappointed! The bread is good. I ordered the "spaghetti the works" that comes with a meatball, Italian sausage, and meat sauce. I also ordered a small cup of the marinara Alfredo (they call it like alla panna) and added it to my meal. Ummm, I wanted to get a 2nd order! It was absolutely delicious. My son got the Alfredo tortellini with grilled shrimp. The Alfredo sauce had a good flavor but the tortellini was over cooked and the shrimp tasted like buttered popcorn. He still finished his whole bowl, but there is definitely room for improvement. My husband got the penne alla vodka. It was delicious. He ate every bite. My little one got the kids Alfredo. Cleaned his plate. The only dish that was a total miss was my daughter's. She did a build your own pasta and just got penne and marinara. This is her typical pasta dish. Very simple but usually very good. It was very bland. She did not finish her meal. All pictures included (even the panna sauce). If you're wondering what to get, get the spaghetti the works exactly the way it comes and add panna sauce to it. We also got the limoncello marscapone cake and shared it. Wish we would have ordered a slice for everyone. It was soooo good.

How do I write about this gem without gushing?? We come to League city from 4 hours away often because of MDAnderson. Dining out becomes a necessity, and a perfect dining experience is a treasure that (if you could imagine) adds happiness to our often doldrum of a week. We are greeted by the most darling smiling, happy young lady, Paola. Then on our first visit, Shelia is our friendly and knowledgeable server. Excellent recommendations for food & wine make for a great visit. She let us know that on Wednesdays there is live piano player. So- of course, we called and made a reservation for a booth by the piano. Paola answered the phone when I called to reserve & she was tickled that we called. She reserved a table across from the piano. When we arrived, she was excited to show us our spot. Precious! The piano player this eve was mesmerizing. Our server was Taylor. Taylor was quick with recommendations, wine taste before ordering a bottle, very attentive with service and food choices. It was a perfect dinner. Thank you, Taylor. I am thrilled to find this spot. We will dine here every three weeks when we have to travel to MDA. Its feels like home. Did I tell you have wonderful the food is? We travel a LOT and are very picky. Try it, you'll love it.
