League City is proud to be officially recognized as a Texas Music Friendly Community by the Texas Music Office! This prestigious designation, awarded in April 2025, highlights our city’s ongoing commitment to nurturing a thriving music scene and supporting local musicians.
The certification reflects the strong partnership between city leadership, local artists, and organizations dedicated to promoting live music. League City joins more than 50 communities across Texas with this designation, opening doors to new opportunities for music-based tourism, artist support, and industry growth.
Monthly Live Music in League Park
One of the vibrant ways League City brings music to life is through free, family-friendly concerts hosted by the League City Folk Association and Legue City Historical Society. Held on the last Friday of each month at the charming League Park, these concerts feature an array of local talent and create an inviting space for the community to gather, relax, and enjoy great music under the stars.
