Celebrate the Arts

Discover the heart of League City’s vibrant arts scene, where creativity thrives at every turn. From the elegance of the Bay Area Houston Ballet and Theatre, to the charm of local maker’s markets and the inspiration of a public gallery with rotating exhibits, there’s something to captivate every art lover.

Music Friendly City

In 2025, League City earned designation as a Music Friendly Texas Certified Community by the Texas Music Office. League City is the 80th Music Friendly Texas Certified community and the ninth in the Greater Houston and Galveston area.

The City is proud to celebrate live music year-round, including supporting free monthly concerts at League Park, hosted by the League City Folk Association and League City Historical Society on the last Friday of each month.

Public Art Displays

League City’s public art initiative kicked off with the live painting of a “mini mural” in May 2021. Since then, many new public art displays have popped up around town. Check out the murals and sculptures at League Park in League City’s beautiful Historic District, along with the mini-murals painted on utility boxes at intersections throughout the city. There are many more public art projects ahead in the coming months, so check back often for updates.

Public Art Gallery

The Public Art Gallery at the League City Civic Center (400 West Walker Street) features rotating exhibits, so there’s always something fresh and exciting to see. And the best part? It’s completely free to visit.
