Discussion Updated: 8-SEP-2008 06:40 Beach conditions for Monday will be pretty good as high pressure in place across the area will produce plenty of sunshine with afternoon highs in the upper 80s. There may be a stray shower in the morning, but any rain should taper off by noon. The water will be quite comfortable for swimmers as the water temperatures remain steady in the upper 80s across the Bay and Gulf through the weekend. Beach conditions will be similar for Tuesday, with a stray morning shower followed by sunshine. Boating conditions will be good for Monday and Tuesday as well, as the visibility will be unlimited with plenty of sun and only the slight chance for a brief shower. Winds will be east to southeast on Monday and Tuesday at 7-14 knots. These winds will produce only a slight chop on Bay waters and waves on the Gulf of around 2 feet.
