Five Steps for Mom to Recover Her Sanity


It’s mid-August which means back-to-school for the kids and hopefully a little “me” time for all the Moms. Whether it’s a solo trip in complete solitude or a ladies-day group outing, League City has the steps to help you transition from Summer back to sanity.

Step 1: Hide your walking/running shoes in the car and after dropping off the kids to find a nice quiet park and walk/run to get your day started.

Step 2: Choose a restaurant in town you or your friends have been dying to try and treat yourself to that farm-to-table lunch you’ve been eyeing. Go ahead you deserve it!

Step 3: Treat yourself to a massage, manicure, pedicure, or maybe a little shopping; whatever relaxes the mind and renews the spirit.

Step 4: As you pick them up from school, SMILE because someone else has had to keep them in line and listen to them all day.

Step 5: After getting the kids off to bed, it’s time to snuggle up with your significant other and have a glass of wine and call it a night!

To all our Mom’s thank you for making Summer so great, but now it’s time to relax and recharge because believe it or not, Thanksgiving and Christmas are right around the corner.
